The purpose of Scouting is to promote the development of young people in achieving their full physical, intellectual, social and spiritual potentials, as individuals, as responsible citizens and as members of their local, national and international communities. We achieve this through a programme of fun and challenging weekly meetings together with special trips, activities and camps.

Although the group is sponsored by the church and the majority of our members are from the Catholic Community, membership is not limited to Catholics. The spiritual element is a vital component of Scouting and Church Parades are held at St Joseph's Catholic Church.

All our Leaders are CRB checked and we have a strict anti-bullying policy.
